Receding gums? Gingivitis? Linked to AF?

I was told I had gingivitis (gum disease) when I visited the dentist a few months ago.

The dentist attributed this to me not brushing between my teeth with interdental tooth brushes. I've never used interdental brushes before and I have now been using them for 3 months and my gums still look inflamed and I have 1 tooth which is very sensitive to hot and cold. The hygienist said with interdental brushing my gingivitis will disappear in 4-5 months time.

I have seen a few posts on here which suggest gingivitis can be caused by adrenal fatigue.

What element of adrenal fatigue causes gingivitis and what is the real cure for it?

Thanks.
