Re: Switched back to Lugol's from SSKI
In what way was your hypoglycemia affected by the Lugols?
Was it worsened, the blood
Sugar dropping harder?
Did it shorten the amount of time you have between meals?
Did you experience reactive hypoglycemia to the Lugols?
Also, how was the vitamin C counterproductive?
Along with other issues, I have hypoglycemia. It is pretty bad sometimes, have to eat about every 2 hours, and I also get bad blood
Sugar crashes when I eat certain foods and things. I am hesitant to be trying new herbs and substances because of the bad crashes. For example, recently I took some bee pollen and it caused a bad crash that left me with panic attacks and on the verge of fainting from the blood
Sugar being so low for a while, and on another day I took some "Amla-C" and the same thing happened but it lasted all day, and I felt all high insulin or something for days.
I've been thinking of starting iodine, but I am apprehensive because of the potential effect on the hypoglycemia.
I'm interested in your diet, by the way. It's pretty much what I'm doing right now myself.
I only drink water, eat meat, some fat, and I try to eat a salad every once in awhile. The meat is mostly Organic Prairie grassfed ground beef, eaten raw. When I can't get that I eat Von's meat cooked. For fat, I eat olive oil and coconut oil, although I haven't eaten either for a few days because suddenly I'm hypoglycemic reactive to the olive oil, and even more reactive to the coconut oil than I already was. I eat a salad every once in a while, maybe once a week although sometimes I eat a lot of salad all day on the days I do eat it. It's usually "Organic O" herb salad from Von's, or some tomatoes. Salads lower my blood sugars a little. I rarely eat fruits these days. I've been eating pretty much like this for almost a year. Recently, I have been using Redmond's Real Salt on some foods and in water, randomly.
What do you eat exactly? What kind of meat, etc?
