I'm exactly the same as you except shifted a bit. I am usually up between 5:30 - 6 pm and am tired enough to go to sleep by 9 pm (and often do). I do NOT get a second wind if I stay up later (if I need to for something).
I also *need* to get out of bed when I wake up- I have tried lying in bed to go back to sleep and just cannot do it. I'm 40 but joke that when I'm old I'll be one of those people in bed by 6 pm, up at 4 am (my grandfather was like that).
