Re: Lack of ratings and attention to alerts good and bad

I saw what your post was about, and replied with my own opinion. Is there a problem with that?

No problem in principle; however, it is painfully transparent that your posts and scores of others like it all relate back to your neverending crusade of bellyaching about one poster and one moderator.  I strongly suggest that dragging this issue out does neither yourself nor CureZone any good.  It IS the WM's website and it should be clear what he does or does not intend to do about your complaints.  I get it.  Almost everyone else gets it too.  I wish that you too would get it and move on.  You otherwise have demonstrated that you have much of value to contribute and, in my opinion, the more you continue your complaints the more you distract from your good contributions.

Perhaps what happens on this forum, is the example that the WM wishes to be seen. If that is so, then maybe all moderators should take their cue from the way this forum is moderated. That would be interesting.

The WM is very concerned about being fair to one and all and is also very strong on freedom of speech.  However, I would opine that regardless of how he moderates forums he made it quite clear in his posts on the debate forums that he fully intends and supports cleaning up abuse in other forums.  He also has made it abundantly clear that he supports the moderator that has a tiny handful so obsessed about, as well as other moderators who have taken action to control abuse.

Its also interesting that you use the language of "barking and whining", to describe those who express their concerns to the WM. I've noticed this before from other posters. I've also noticed this type of labelling in the wider community.

"Barking up the wrong tree" is an old and oft-used expression.  Whining is, well, whining.  The term is probably used frequently because that is exactly what those who use it perceive.
