How much of toxic Pandora can we get back in the box?

As an adjunct topic:  To what extent do you believe that genetic damage and changes might be reversed?  We can perhaps to a great extent COMPENSATE for genetic changes and damage by adaption of a healthy diet and lifestyle and cleansing and such but one has to wonder to what extent we can REVERSE it?  Certainly not 100%.

Think about the damage from vaccines to infants and young children when they are most vulernable and their brains, central nervous, immune and other systems are developing.  I don't think you ever reverse that damage completely - you just try to do as best you can and compensate for what you cannot reverse.  The same likely holds true for most genetic damage regardless of our age which has resulted from toxins and radiation combined with under-nourished and underprotected cells. Some, perhaps most, of the genetic damage remains and gets passed on - both downways and sideways.

Modern age man has long had the erroneous and naive presumption that whatever our screwups, science will be able to come along and save the day. How well has that worked out for nuclear waste and fallout, hmmm? Modern science has proved itself either incapable or unwilling to even produce medications which are side-effect free to begin with.  How can we expect them to clean up their mess?

Surely every effort should be made to clean up our messes - provided that the solutions do not involve still more unnatural toxins.  However, I think that the evidence is compelling that for the large measure we had better stop hoping for a scientific magic genie to come along and put Pandora back in the box and instead focus on stopping future damage and living with the damage that has already occured.
