You bring up a valid point. In my mind, to condense it, what you in essence are saying....

Why does it matter if you put up a post by your username, which isn't really your true name, or a number? They both are anonymous. Uny - you and a few of the other private forum owners can have your real names found out when push comes to shove, but this is not the case for 99% of the curezone posters. So......

Whats the big deal?? We all are just anonymous posters??!! Why the fuss???

Well the big deal in my mind is that the whole number aspect means that individual posters can post under two idenities. And while must won't abuse this priviledge, well past curezone history has shown that certain people do abuse it. And as I said before on this forum, curezone is the only website that I have seen this option allowed. And for good reason. All other websites don't want to even touch this boondoggle with a ten foot pole. The possibilities for abuse are endless. And while you Uny, and the people that post on your forum, don't abuse it.........

Well unfortunately others do. And it is a shame that a small percentage of the people ruin it for the rest of us. Because in a perfect world the concept has merit. Just that it hasn't been used that way here on curezone. So I personally think it needs to be removed. Unfortunately. Sigh...... Tweet
