You are spot on with this post. I'm sixteen years younger than you, but I share your views a hundred percent. I wish I could say something different, but things really did bloody change in this world, and much too often not to the better.

So sad it is the truth. And most terrible that it is nearly universal by now.
Neither you nor me want to sound like old farts (I beg forgiveness for the rude language) complaining how everything has changed and the past was sooo much better and the youth is worthless. It wouldn't be the full truth. But we really are in danger of losing something very essential, as you've pointed out in your post. And who's going to bring it back? Surely not the iLoving iPod iPhone iPad generation. They're much too busy with their "i"-things. If there's not an app for it, it's not worth pursuing. :-)
