Time to get serious

Thanks so much, unyquity, for your thoughtful and informative answer.

Yes, it is time to get serious with this problem. Until this latest episode, I still felt that a gallbladder attack came and went and if I didn't eat fatty food and did the odd flush, I would be fine. That has worked till now. I hadn't had any problems since August, and felt quite invincible, so over the Christmas holidays I ate with wild abandon. I will never take my gallbladder for granted again.

I don't have the gallbladder pains now, but a few different pangs and twinges that do worry me a bit. However, I am juicing fruits and vegetables, taking echinacea and Lidan tablets. I am afraid to have solid food at the moment, so I will carry on the juice diet for another few days and see how I feel.

Still, people close to me are urging me to at least get an ultrasound, but I am afraid that I will be frightened into having the surgery if I get anywhere near the MDs.
