Re: How dare you! You must be part of CZ's "hidden agenda"
Thanks for your kind advice.
You might or might not have read this little story but it brings to mind what we as individuals sometimes have to endure.
The person in this story was helped but some don't make it............
[[[Your quote:'When the worst offenders, as far as attacking others is concerned, are supported, instead of moderated, this also smells like an agenda'.
This type of thing can be transferred into the school playground, literally. In my experience, if a kid has been continually bullied, and their parent has gone and made the principal aware of this, it is the principals responsibility to seek out and monitor the behaviour very closely and to ensure that this bully stops bullying.
When then your child continues to come home with cuts, bruises and tears, you realise that nothing is being done and the voice of the parent went ignored. Then you go back again to inform the principal and demand that something is done about the bully in question and why wasn't it done initially.
This child then became absolutely fearful of attending school. This went on for months and the child then decided to defend himself instead of allowing this other kid to walk all over him. The trouble was, when he did defend himself, the principal singled him out immediately and decided that he infact was the problem. This situation ended up with the parent taking the child out of the school all together.
It was disgusting and appaulling behaviour. The parent placed trust in the principal and the teachers to ensure the school environment was safe and free from abuse for her son. Well, not in this case.
This child is now in a secure and safe school that has a, 100%, absolute intolerence of bullying. It runs programs to help children, the principal, teachers and parents recognise when this behaviour is occuring and numerous step by step guidlines on what to do if it is.
The program also helps the bully recognise their own behaviour and formulates ways to get to the bottom of their problem.
By doing this, unity and peace can ultimately be achieved.]]]
