I agree, and I suspect that the platitudes that the mine owner is giving to the families of the dead miners, wont mean much once the full story of why this happened comes out.

Production over safety, and profit over safety, has been the cause of many of the deaths and environmental disasters, that have occurred in the last couple of years.

The oil spill off the coast of Western Australia

The coal mine disasters in China, and now New Zealand

All this death and destruction, and all for the love of money, and the dependence on fossil fuels.
