I am treating myself for a pretty bad candida problem that I have been struggling with for about 10 years. I am somewhat of a newbie in this area but have had moderate success and a definite improvement with the candida diet, antifungals, a parasite cleanse, and keeping my ph in check. I just started training for my third marathon and I am excited for how much better the training will be on my new diet (although I have lost too much weight already).
Question:
Anyone have advice on how to contain my acidity during such high amounts of exercise? What to do after a 22 mile run? I know that extreme exercise might make it very difficult for me to maintain a good Ph PLUS get enough calories.
Question:
What minerals get depleted by exercise the most? I am sure years of candida and marathon training have sapped my body of the vitamins and nutrients it needs.
