Re: Educating instead of medicating - Healing instead of eliminating symptoms!

I'll be glad to surprise you BeiYin. I did find your web site FaclonBlanco a few months back. I have an Inguinal Hernia, and as an American without health insurance I was not looking forward to any of the "repair" options. It seemed the more I read about "success rates" and "side effects" the more discouraged I got. So I typed into Google "Hernia Repair without Surgery." Your web site was about the third one on the list (the first one that kept the concept "without" intact, the others said things like hernias can not be repaired without surgery.

Anyway I read your rather long account, I wanted to get to the bottom line to see if you had manged to fix your's, but felt like I should read the whole thing because it seemed the journey was important. It was a good read. (PS I love your alternative community too! It makes me daydream. When I lived in Saudi Arabia we did some sailing around Gibraltar)

Anyway I decided to try a program like yours more or less (like that guy John I guess mixed with a bit of stuff I picked up from Jubba in the Google group). I'm taking protein powder, exercising and taking some Pilate classes. I'm also wearing a truss.

Some days I feel like it is all helping, but then other days it seems the hernia pops out so easily and I wonder if I'm helping cure it or making it worse. I believe you were lucky in breaking your leg (I know that sounds odd) but I think if if I could stay in bed for three weeks it might be cured.

The most discouraging part to me seems that for all the good I do, when it pop out again that I've undone all the progress.

Anyway you have given me a lot of hope, and I continue to hang in there... Thank you!

Larry
