Re: Amount of water and when to take it?
One of the benefits of a water-only fast is that our systems take a complete break. Thus the reason why many say that anything not named "water" or even "distilled water" enter your mouth, for if you add lemon to your stomach, the system must "turn on" in some capacity to digest it. Toothpaste, water additives, gum, etc. Distilled water is liked because it's not adding anything to your body that may come from tap water and the like.
At the same time, some still swear by the enema, which has been shown (in many of the articles and studies I've read, I'm not a doctor) to be of less benefit than if the colon had just been left alone to deal with itself, by itself.
So, you have different schools of thought on a lot of issues when it comes to water-only fasting.
You're on the money as far as I'm concerned with the greens & fruit. Add nuts to that and use those three components as the "base" of your nutrition, and you'll undoubtedly find that you will be all the more better off for it.
