It is always important to note how you FEEL rather than what numbers on a test tell you. Thyroid tests are known to be inconsistent and can be thrown off by prescription medications, time of day the test was taken, and even what foods you've eaten. They can be a guide but not the absolute final authority. Any doctor who insists on following the numbers on paper rather than listening to you is basically just covering their own ass legally.
