Re: Ease Out, Day 5
Am having one big/two reg sized poops per day.
Have been eating veggies, along w the salsa I had made (just tomatoes, jalapenos, onions), a few organic corn chips. Had a veggie stir fry today. It's all good. Made hummus yesterday with a small amount of tahini and again, no negatives.
Had a Odwalla Lifefood drink today that contains these pretty cool ingredients: apple juice, peach, mango, strawberry and banana purees, spriulina, soy lethicin, wheat grass, barley grass, wheat sprouts, jerusalem artichoke, lemion bioflavonoids and Nova Scotia dulse. Not to mention it just tastes like a yummy fruit smoothie.
Found some kefir today. Two kinds. The flavoured ones use cane sugar, so I just got the unflavored. They have on the label that 1 tablespoon of it = 5 billion good bacteria. The supplements I purchased have 50 billion cultures per capsule. Today I really felt my system needed probiotics (trust me, I know what this feels like from before when I used to eat dairy)so I ate a tablespoon of kefir and had one capsule. Will continue w both. Also, am thinking of trying my sample vega pkg w PerfectFoodRaw once I've tested out rice milk again.
I feel totally normal i.e. zero stomach upset, zero sensitivity/reactions, zero headaches etc. to anything I've ingested.
I'm finding that I'm not remotely attracted to anything sweet or fried, and I might have been in the past. : 0 )
Will think about the nut milk bags, but given that almonds aren't cheap here, I wonder if there's much of an advantage to making my own almond milk? What other kinds would make sense to make? I also prefer rice milk, over buying almond milk (since I find the almond milk too sweet).
Am incorporating more physical activity (slowly) and am still finding I'm a bit tired, which I think is to be expected. Am drinking lots of water.
Feeling my stomach and system are feeling 'normal', nothing unusual, I guess. : 0 )
