Topical use of tinctures and teas

Hello everyone,

I am doing many things for healing my infection at the moment, but would also like to make antibacterial tinctures and teas applied topically part of my infection-healing-plan.

I am using essential oils topically, but thought it might also be a good idea to spray on herbal tinctures and teas several times per day.

Is that a good idea? Should I make tinctures or teas or both? Which would be more helpful, tinctures or teas? If I want to make a supply of herbal tea to spray on the skin, how long can I keep it, before it goes bad? And how should I keep it (fridge?). I guess it does not necessarily have to be warm, when sprayed on? If I make a tincture for topical use, would it be ok to use several herbs in the same jar for tincturing?

Thanks for any advice,
many greetings,
Solmare
