Re: SAM-E Question
Baking soda is good for many things, although there are cases where some drank baking soda and vinegar, so beware of this. I'll have to research it again because I was going to start doing this, but I backed off because of what can happen. Apparently your stomach can explode or something. It's horrible, I read, when it happens, and some people die. As you can imagine that can happen that they would die unless they caught them early enough for surgery.
Really, this has happened, but I can't remember if the stomach exploded or he just had a leak or something that the mix caused this. However, if it's just baking soda alone, I would read the directions because, look at the box if you have it handy, does it say not take on a full stomach? If it does, I would definitely use those directions because you don't want to do something bad to yourself. If I can find those stories of people that this happened to, I'll be glad to post the link here.
Now I know many people mix the two all the time, but you have to be aware of this fact.
Read this, please. It's actually the baking soda.

Yes, it really happened to. But keep in mind what that guy ate, which I read that a person's stomach exploding rarely happens, but it could because there could be a weak place in the wall of the stomach.
Looks like doctors knew this could happen, too. Personally, if I had baking soda, I would follow the directions on the box. I'm 57, and it's likely that I could have a stomach wall that is weak in spots. I'm not saying that you have, but I could.
