Re: birth control after mirena

I used Loestrin between all of my pregnancies until I had the Mirena. It was the only one I could tolerate because the others made me throw up. After I had my IUD out last fall, my husband had a vasectomy since we were done and I had (and still have) such a horrible hormonal imbalance. So I can't tell you about Loestrin AFTER Mirena, but it worked okay for me for over a decade before.
