Open Challenge: Everyone

Yes I have read all the Soy thread and this one. (No I didn't watch the videos.) Perhaps therein lies my ignorance! The tone does change.

Open Challenge: Do posters wish to continue in this mode or should we find another way??

If the protagonists wish to "solve" this issue may I suggest we go back to the first point of dispute. Ask all parties to understand each other's point of view at that first point. Argue not your point but focus on understanding what each person is saying. Many are the means to confusion and conflict, mutual understanding the only means to solving it.

Then and only then onto the second. Yes, very slow and difficult but at least it solves the issue. This method is proven as an excellent way to building a common understanding. And yes it does imply agreeing to disagree - respectfully I might add.

In forums such as these many disputes erupt because of language perception/understanding differences with the underlying differences in culture. Patient understanding laced with honesty and respect the only solution.

""There are none such fools as assume they are dealing with fools.""

"I value open honest respectful debate. Agree to disagree is my byline.""
