...on his own forum as well as on the Cancer Support Forum . It's obvious to me that this particular issue is a continuation of the debate on soy in the news forum. We've seen these tactics before, if Hv is not gaining traction with his views/ideas, he resorts to personal attacks and attempts to derail the thread.

The problem with this, IMO, is that these threads get dumped into the Debate Forums , and then good information is lost...well, not lost exactly, just not viewed as much.

Another problem of course is that valued CZ members such as DQ have to suffer personal attacks in public Support Forums . I would certainly hope that we are all adult enough here to debate ideas without resorting to personal attacks but sadly, Hv seems to be incapable of debating without attacking.

These attacks do take a toll on the psyche, I know, I've been there.

And that leads to the next problem- people get worn down with abuse and hesitate to post in public forums because of the abuse. Therefore he who yells loudest and longest "wins".

CZ does have a TOS. Hv consistently violates TOS and gets away with it- why is that?

The last person that behaved in this manner on this website was Moreless and the end result of that behavior was that he was confined to his own forum only.

The issue here is not DQ's moderation, he is an excellent moderator. The issue is Hv's behavior in public forums. This is a long-standing problem.

I've said this before and I will say it AGAIN. Hv DOES help a lot of people, he does post a lot of good info, there is no doubt about that. The problem is and always has been his behavior in public forums.

I also think that his forum should be re-named. None of us can claim that we hold the "truth".
