Re: HELP!Leptospirosis-Blood Everywhere!
How awful. I have never heard of leptospirosis...but a quick google told me it CAN effect the kidneys and eyes...and cause kidney failure.
This is what I would do.
1. Go to the internet and find out everything about it you can. This will help you to make sure the diagnosis is right and might even inform you of possible therapies.
2. Now, no one ever listens to me about things like this, but this is a serious situation and your puppy needs immediate support and healing. I would go to the yellow pages...or some holistic listing source and find myself a aurvedic herbalist. In India, aurvedic doctors treat non-humans as well as humans. They are not snobs when it comes to different species...and they have a knowledge of bodies and herbs that is beyond compare.
Even now, I have had a pressure headache for over four weeks. An MD and Neurolgist have done nothing for me, but Dr. Patel, my aurvedic herbalist, has stopped the pain and is slowly reversing the symptoms ... without a diagnosis! and from a distance of 3000 miles away...as he is in CA and I am in MD.
He also pulled Suki, my little poodle puppy, out of death's jaws due to a strange neurological condition that scores of vets could only offer steriods for...he lived another ten years.
You need to find some one close to you tho, as you don't have time to wait for delivery through the mail.
3. I would also call Kim Rockshaw. (Actually I would do that first)
Kim Rockshaw is my dog's homeopathic/nutritional holistic consultant. She would give you a LOT of instant support, and possibly herbal and supplemental therapies as well as homeopathy. She knows a lot about almost all conditions and might know immediately what to do.....
PLEASE NOTE: She works over the phone and is not expensive. While she is in CA, she can tell you what to get locally to get you started.
Kim Rockshaw: 949-366-6818. You can be on the phone with her in minutes. She has helped me and my dogs a lot...even on Sundays...once you are a client. Tell her Iris sent you.
You can google Kim to find out more about her.
Good luck and God bless both of you. Let me know how things turn out.
PS: I would not rely on things like Cayanne and ACV without someone more knowledgeable recommending them. I don't think they would hurt...but I doubt they will give you the ER relief you are looking for.
