Thank for very much for the suggestions Luella, Raynbo and Megabite.
Yes Luella the vet were now seeing IS the second opinion.
The only difference in their approach is the current Vet is doing injectible
Antibiotics while the first wanted syrup.
At first I thought it was Rat poisoning because of the excessive bleeding! Thankfully Leptospirosis has reversed the odds literally.
Though it doesnt look that way because of all the blood!
My dog now is pissing what looks to be like blood clots?
As compared to 2 days ago, he now having less output(urine).
Im starting to notice edema, the liquids are being stored in the arms.
There is now less bleeding however. I dont worry about that anymore. No bleeding on the gums and paws.
So my main concern now is the kidney damage!
Kidneys dont regenerate (atleast according to what I read so far) although I hope theres something that can be done to regenerate it someday IF he manages to pull through.
Yes Raynbo actually I was looking for Ayurvedic practitioners yesterday. Those guys prescribe unusual herbs that are not the easiest to find.
As to giving CS to us, yes im on it.
As he was pissing yesterday, a tiny amount of urine splashed on my eyes!
And yes erring on going overboard, yesterday the whole day I must have given him a half a liter of CS.
In my experience, when i took too much CS the first time, I had fevers for several days because of probably too many dead micro-organisms in my system.
He probably is experiencing the same overloading in his system. I just hope he can handle it. But theres not a lot of choice because if I go slow, the more the disease lingers, the more his kidneys are being degrading.
In retrospect I really wished I had been more consistent in giving CS to them.
Prior to this I hadnt given my pets CS for a week.
That was enough time to incubate the viruses or bacteria!
And because they all share waterbowls, theres a huge chance all my dogs are infected as well!
No symptoms have appeared on my other pets except the Great Dane.
