I took a look at the link you sent re: the magnesium.
I take folic acid and B6 every day and find they help.
I have experience taking magnesium malate or MALIC ACID for withdrawal symptoms from antidepressants and other drugs as some of them make you experience horrible brain zaps, body aches and muscle stiffness. Things worse than probably heroin detox! When I've used it, I've used it at the dosage similar to the one in this formula about 1600mg once or twice a day until the symptoms subsided.
Whoever said there is a correlation between feeling crappy and muscle stiffness is correct. I feel stiff/achey when my mood is bad, although I take medication and a lot of these meds cause this type of pain so it's hard to figure out.
I discovered MALIC ACID is the only thing that would completely resolve these withrdawal symptoms and I've been told it works on your nervous system, thus helping the brain.
I've never tried taking it daily. Do you think that would help with any mood issues as well?
