I also favour reusable and washable bags. The plastic bags I have currently from the local supermarket, I reuse at home. I am not exactly sure whether these particular bags are made from recycled materials. This is something to keep in my mind in the future when I am out and about.

I am very eager to stop using the plastic bags at the large supermarket and bring my own calico bags for the big shopping and a small cloth hand basket for a little shop.

My friend has one of these hand baskets and she says its fantastic. She said that not only is it great on reducing the use of plastic bags but it is very practical as well.
