I phoned one woman who makes it -- Cortesia is the "brand." She told me to start out with less than ten drops. More than ten had reports of throbbing hands from some user.
So I used 7 drops.
I have really totaled the ligaments or tendons (not sure which) in my feet from leg to toe. These give much trouble and pain, but 7 drops of Solomon's seal tincture in the morning does the trick. I haven't pulled a muscle, etc, and will keep that in mind if/when I do. We are attempting to grow the plant here, but my first bed was a dud -- 25 roots ordered online last fall. This fall (maybe this weekend, with luck) I am going to purloin some from the local park.
Otherwise, because the tincture is rather expensive, I'm glad that seven drops will do it. The two ounce bottle lasts a LONG time.
