I agree. But, once they learn to overcome their wrongful-self consciousncess about a body part, all is well, although it can take time. I was told I couldn't sing worth a shit but went and wrote an album and after selling 20 or so CD's , finally figured out that my voice doesn't suck as much as I was brainwashed to believe. Its a normal human thing to be conscious of our own attributes, and it sometimes takes a true friend to come along and set us straight. If my mate had super huge labia or nose or whatever, it wouldn't matter to me - I'd just consider it a tiny piece of the total her.
