What DQ is talking about is about 10 or maybe 20 watts of power, which would be good for charging Cell Phone s and small stuff like that. Which is good if you're living out in the woods in a survival situation, and this is why this forum was created.

But the article stated the system would charge a deep cell battery and I know a 10 or 20 watt system would take forever to do that. I've read it would take at least a week or two to do that. I just wanted to see if you could verify how many watts it would take to charge one deep cell battery in 12 or 24 hours.

And yes the systems are getting a lot better now. I priced a 60 room building last year for solar power and I think it was around $40,000. Tweet
