Re: What worked for me

Hey there,

From the last time we chatted, I've completely changed my diet, I've tried to eliminate any form of omega 3 from my diet and I've also underwent liver cleansing. I've also been taking barleans borage oil (liquod) everyday(past 7 days). First of all I wanted to say that I see IMPROVEMENT in my lips. I'd say its been the best since the past 5 years so I know the a more completely cure is just around the corner. Right now I'm applying east african shea butter about 4-5 times a day but I have to mention the fact that my lips dont peel as much. Its been an overall improvement. However, if I dont apply anything and leave it in its regular state...after an hour or so, my lips still crack and start getting dry. So, I'm thinking, there is still something that Im eating or using(skin product, shampoo etc) that is causing this. I wanted to run couple of items by you if you dont mind, maybe you know something i dont. I hope you dont mind.

First of all, I use extra virgin olive oil as my main oil source. I use it to cook vegetables and to dip my spelt bread in. I eat only the following vegetables: asparagus, carrots, watercrests, leeks, Celery and I eat the following fruits: mango, papaya, grapes, oranges, grapefruits. I eat balsmic white rice or wild rice and I completely stopped eating nuts(almonds, cashews,).

What hand and face soap do you use? because Im having trouble finding one that contains no omega 3. Well, to be honest...i dont know what alot of the ingredients are so I wouldnt know if it contained omega 3 or not. Today i bought a hand soap from whole foods:

Nature's Gate Deep Cleansing Liquid Soap

ingredients: purified water, sodium laureth sulfate, sodium olefin sulfonate, cocamidopropyl betaine, cocamide dea, extracts of papaya, pineapple, burdock and panama, glycol stearate, annatto, caramel, citric acid , diazolidinyl urea, methylparaben, propylparaben, natural fragrance

What did you find that works for shampoo and face/hands wash??

Thank You so much,

- friend
