Re: What worked for me
Yes please give my suggestions a try, I have heard back from others that it helped them, I dont think it can work 100% without figuring out which oils are the inhibiting ones. Dont underestimate the inhibiting power of omega 3, back when I was really sensitive all it took was one shrimp, or one bite of fish and my lips were back to cracking dry. From trial and error I learned lots of food contained omega 3 and were causing setbacks, foods that are usually so low in omega 3 that they are not listed as sources such as chocolate, beans, and coconut oil. ANd another tip, you can absorb fatty acids from your shampoos, lotions, conditioners, deoderant etc. I was doing great for a long time and then suddenly my lips went dry and I couldnt figure it out because I knew I had figured out all of my food sources, then I thought it could be my shampoo because I had switched brands about the time my lips started getting dry and yep it was my shampoo which contained hemp or flaxseed oil. I stopped using it and my lips healed up in a few days. I tried the shampoo again just to make sure I wasnt crazy and it happened again. Since then I have discovered that I cant use products with soybean oil, hemp, or flax. Now days I can handle omega 3 in greater amounts but I can go to extremes. HTH
