Tendonitis in my wrist was my first symptom. It started 6 months after the Mirena was placed. Then a year later I started with my other autoimmune/neurological symptoms and was tested for lupus and MS. Recovery has been a roller coaster for me, but I've never regretted for a day that I had it out. And my tendonitis improved immediately after having it out.
