Re:
Iodine Update..
What amounts of Iosol are you talking about when you say, "Now it seems no matter what amount I take it won't produce the same results" ?
I don't know of any direct connection between thyroid and DHT. You can lose hair by being hypothyroid, or you can lose hair by being anemic, or you can lose hair by having high DHT, or you can lose hair by being/having all three. There's probably a long list of conditions that can cause hair loss. Do you have a blood test to prove either low thyroid or high DHT? How much are you assuming is wrong with you without any backup?
Slow heartbeat can be related to the relationship among potassium, sodium, calcium, and magnesium. A slow, pounding heart might indicate a need for potassium, fast pounding might indicate a need for less calcium or more magnesium, and a weak heartrate might indicate a need for more calcium. Palpitations, or what you feel when your heart rhythm is not smooth, in my experience, indicate an imbalance of calcium/magnesium. If you're not supplementing either one, most likely you need magnesium, especially if you're fond of eating cheese.
If you try magnesium and you get worse, try calcium instead. If you try potassium and get worse, try sodium. The balance is there, somewhere.
What happened to the hump on your back? If you have low adrenal function, that could play havoc with your heartrate.
All these issues are saying you need to focus.
