Re: composite filling intolerance?

Hi there!
I too had the biocompatibility tests done. From the lists that are least reactive, I am getting the dentist to give me a little piece to test in my mouth (I place it under my tongue). I have tried 4/5 composites and I find I am reactive to them though they are fine as per the biocompatibity tests. I feel I may have a problemwith plastics.
Did you happen to identify which fillings are suitable for you?
Based on my level of reactivity, I am now thinking of getting my 5 Amalgams removed without getting a replacement filling. A couple of months or so later I can test different materials and see what works for me after my body burden of Mercury has reduced some. The idea came to me since a couple of years back an Amalgam filling fell out and I havent gotten it replcaed and the tooth is doing fine.
Has anyone on this board tried such an approach? Any ideas on what you think of such an approach?
Thanks very much!
RG
