Re: composite filling intolerance?

I got my results! It turns out that I have a LOT of sensitivities, many of the materials that the dentist even uses. I'm not sure exactly what material is in my mouth right now and if it's on the lsit because it was used 10 years ago and my dentist from that time doesn't exactly know. So... I'm going to have the 2 composite fillings removed either way and replaced with fillings that are at the lowest level of sensitivity (and also BPA free!).

In the report they describe the different materials such as metals, composites, glass ionomers, bonding agents, root canal materials, etc in three different levels of reactivity: Highly reactive, moderately reactive, and least reactive. Ideally you want to use materials that are in the last group, obviously. I'm going to go back next month to have the fillings removed and replaced and should hopefully have an update shortly after that.

Until then!
