You rock, iolite!
Thanks again for all the great info, iolite!
If you make your own caps, you can get NAC, ALA, ALC, etc. from Beyond a Century (BAC),

for a fraction of what it costs in caps at Swanson or iHerb.
Regarding buffered Vitamin C, iHerb carries Sodium Ascorbate and it's actually cheaper than their ascorbic acid powder.
NutriBiotic, Sodium Ascorbate Crystalline Powder, 16
oz (454 g) $13.79
NutriBiotic Sodium Ascorbate is manufactured by dissolving pharmaceutical grade ascorbic acid with sodium bicarbonate (derived from sea water). It is a fully reacted, truly buffered form of vitamin C.
The sodium in this product differs from common
table salt in that it is not combined with chloride, the "salt" most often associated with hyper-tension. Each gram (1000 mg) of vitamin C activity from NutriBiotic Sodium Ascorbate provides only 120 mg of sodium.

Over the years, I've briefly had a touch of fibromyalgia two different times. It was in my hip and upper thigh area and would ache/hurt at night while in bed. I couldn't massage it away or walk it off. Strange. Never had anything like that before or since. Fortunately, I got rid of it with some enzyme therapy. I simply took either Bromelain tablets or Pancreatin capsules (both Now Foods brand and from iHerb) on an empty stomach a few times per day and within days it totally got rid of it. I think that it had to do with the fact that these enzymes are proteolytic and dissolve fibrin (not to be confused with fiber). I've not researched the connection between fibrin and fibro but you might want to look into it.
Thanks again, iolite!
