Kelp: Cure for Ovarian Cysts?

Hi All,

I was diagnosed with ovarian cysts, and the gynie prescribed progresterone pills. Needless to say, I did not even fill the prescription. :-|

I did apply castor oil packs a few times, upped my Omega 3 intake, and GLA intake. I also started excersizing.

Recently I have started taking Kelp, because I have read that the Iodene in helps the thyroid regulate hormones.

Could anybody please comment on my regime? I have noticed after I started taking the Kelp, I developed a couple of nasty cystlike Acne spots. Is this normal?

The past week, I have taken saunas regularly for up to 20 minutes, as I have read that saunas helps to regulate hormones. And I am taking Turmeric. The turmeric initially caused a Herxheimmer reaction, as it killed of the Candida. Which I am very happy about.

Usually I would get bleeding during my ovulation, lately so bad, it is like a second period. This month I only have very light spotting. So, it seems as if things are looking up.

I only have one ovary, and have yet to fall pregnant, I am 35 years of age.
