was reading in JAMA today(I know, I know) that one of the problems is that just like thousands of other chemicals and mixtures of chemicals out there this stuff(corexit, corexit mixed/w oil) has NEVER been tested, on humans, rats, monkeys, etc.

Chemical companies write the legislation and set the safety standards. There's no testing until there's a problem, and this one's a doozy.
