There is very weak evidence that diet alone could kill these. The issue with Blastocystis is the subtypes, it is now known that 10 subtypes of blastocystis have been identified as pathogenic. Blasto is quite biodiverse in that there are many variations unlike other organisms. Each subtype requires different pharma therapies. Tweet
