I'm all about the hoodoo and the voodoo and a few other tricks that wizards enjoy. ;-)

One easy thing to do is to place filter media over top of your window screens. That should help keep some of the junk out. I have seen carbon fibre spun into a nice media that you could either tape over your screen or roll it in with the screen spline.

The stuff I saw (but can't seem to find at the moment) is made from coconuts. I think it was called "grey matter."
