Re: Cancer Anxiety Research with Psilocybin

Personally, if I had anxiety and/or worries about cancer one of the last things I would want to do would be psilocybin.  When you are young and carefree and your mind is not cluttered with mental baggage such as worries and regrets, psilocybin can often make for quite the enjoyable trip.  It can also result in a nightmare trip where your worries, regrets, fears and paranoia is amplified and you are unable to get your mind out of a negative loop until the effects wear off.  The likelihood of having such a bad trip increases with age and experience.

Why not do a study on the benefits of marijuana?  We KNOW it can help with worries and anxiety plus there are many, many reports of its main active ingredient, THC, having substantial anti-cancer properties and results.
