You're not experiencing true hunger - it is a mouth and throat sensation not a stomach growling (and it takes much longer than 9 days to reach it unless you're very underweight).
Its probably taking you longer than normal for precisely the reason why you're fasting: because you are struggling with a food addiction. Addictions take time to break. Withdrawal symptoms both psychological and physical are a real issue. Just reassure yourself that the feelings will pass. Do not allow yourself to think about food. Fantasizing about food only enhances cravings by building anticipation. You have a choice, this is within your control as long as you don't allow yourself to give into your impulses. And thats exactly why you're fasting - so you wouldn't want to do that.
