Well. It did clear up my acne. I had zero acne, even after discontinuing treatment.

But, knowing what I know now, I believe if I Had been on a low carb, anti yeasty diet I would not have had Acne at all.

I ate pure garbage back then.

My emotional problems existed before accutane, but they were also hightened and highlighted by it. I was never suicidal before the accutane, but became severely so during treatment.

These problems lasted after discontinuing use. I wonder now, if accutane caused something to change inside the gut (possibly candida?) to make this lasting change occur.
