A fast is serious change to your body. You are changing how your body gains the fuel it needs to sustain life. No matter how you try to equate fasting with a "changing life and inner self", your primary concern should be that of your body chemistry. In this forum I have seen a lot of questions addressed to the effects of what people are experiencing during a fast so I put up an old outline that I have used for the past ten years to help myself and others who fast. I'm not trying to knock people around, but when you speak of fasting you should refer to the work of a recognized professional to prove your statement.
