This is only a guess... but I think I managed to keep the hotflashes to a minimum (and then very bearable) by restricting / avoiding milk products and all kinds of meat (since I´m vegetarian). The reason being: most milk producing animals are fed with alot of hormones. Also animals eaten for their meat like chicken, pork, beef etc are laden with hormones. IMHO its these hormones that give us women all the extremely bad "symptoms" of hot flashes. Menopause being a natural phase in our lives, should´nt normally be as unbearable as it is for some ladies.
Nowadays when I indulge in too much cheese I get hot flashes... so this is how I can tell and feel theres a connection there.
I´ve also noticed the hotflashes occur where our chakras are located - so I´ve told myself the universe is making me more aware of my chakras and all the energy that´s at my disposal!!! Makes me appreciate my female energy!
