Re: confused and disappointed...question for Chris and anyone who can help me!
Hello kaseypink123,
I can sympathize with your health problems!
Firstly, I would like to ask how is your appetite? and how frequently does your body demand food?
This has a strong bearing on the matter.
If your appetite is low or non-existent then your body is telling you not to take nourishment, and so a water-fast is indicated, even though you are thin. This is not a barrier to fasting.
A BMI of 18.6 is not that bad and not contrary to a fast, so I would undertake another fast of at least 10 days and give your digestive organs a very needed rest. Physical inactivity is also important during the fast, as is freedom from stress and anxiety which will only exacerbate your health-issues.
The symptoms and health problems you have described are all digestion-related: in other words your digestion and assimilation of solid foods is impaired, and the needed rest that fasting affords will go a long way in resolving these issues.
Post-fast eating is vitally important and where you are best to consume only raw and fresh juices for at least the first two days, progressing to high-water-content foods such as grapes and apples on the third day, and then by the fourth day to fruit only in the morning and a small green salad both for lunch and Dinner.
Do not worry about your weight as this will return in the fullness of time.
It is also vitally important to EAT ONLY ACCORDING TO YOUR APPETITE AND YOUR BODYS DEMAND FOR FOOD.....NO LESS AND NO MORE.
THE OTHER AND MOST VITALLY IMPORTANT THING IS TO COMBINE YOUR FOODS CORRECTLY.......I CANNOT STRESS THIS TOO HIGHLY.
Please read this thoroughly, as proper food combining has a massive influence on health and digestive issues.
