yes keep going. ANY fasting at all has a lasting positive effect. no matter WHAT you eat afterward. even if you dont get immediate weight loss this will come if you keep fasting and i think cleaning up the diet to the extent you are willing is helpful... and i think fasting just itself naturally leads you to clean up the diet - this is my thinking on all of it. maybe i am wrong on some points. ... recently like last night I figured out something else, though: this is that the more "humanized" I am by human interaction and asserting/expressing myself bravely and reaching out for support with my fasting goals, the less I will overeat (often this works anyway. But I feel the more connected I get the MORE it will work. ) let me hear from you! I f*cked up and lost my fast after 3 days & 1 hour. I lost it last night. the reason was I got SUCH detox and was so sick and got scared. There was no reason to be scared . I will post my plan for starting again soon. I did 3 plus days, though, which is a respectable fast for me. But I DO need to fast SO much longer for my health. I am in a process of "permanent diet cleanup" right now and ALSO have to learn how to do much longer fasts and get support for that. I think maybe I will try to do a series of fasts which become gradually longer. With a plan for very minimal eating in between fasts. Right now I am fighting the urge to overeat. I will stay on the forum through my process because I know you are here and I think my process is much better socialized.
