Re: Has anyone tried an antifungul called Voriconazole?

DVjorge, I know you have read a lot of material but I think you need to go back and do more research, and don't be over-reliant on Majorie Crandall's material (which I read back in the 90's by the way). Any knowledgeble doctor should tell you that it is possible for a case of candidiasis to be absolutely incurable with all FDA meds regardless of doses, combinations, and duration of treatment. If they tell you otherwise they are either clueless or lying to you.

First off intestinal candidiasis cannot even be reliably diagnosed 100% at this point in time (the technology does not exist), so I would not research that and just concentrate on researching the type that can be diagnosed - skin & mucous membranes.

Here it is http://emedicine.medscape.com/article/1091928-overview.

If you have a visible candida infection of skin, mouth or mucous membrane it must be acknowledged that there is no 100% effective cure that works for everyone. I do and there isn't a drug approved by FDA (I've had them all) that eradicates it or even puts into remission, and I have thousands of photos on my computer to prove it.

I believe genes play a MAJOR role but Antibiotics can be a necessary trigger factor. Case in point: my health - Fubar, not a single month since 1997 when I did not need antifungals, brother's health Fubar; health so bad neither of us ever had kids, so our genes will not get passed on (evolution at work to adapt the human race to the threat posed by penicillin & Antibiotic drugs); mother died young, health fubar.

It wasn't always like that grandparents, great grandparents, their siblings all terrific health from what I have been able to find out. Survived and thrived despite wars, famines (forget low carb they were lucky if they got to eat at all), dirty drinking water loaded with lead, toxins and all sorts of bugs, more wars, carpet bombings, Nazi occupation, communist occupation, horrendous living conditions, 1917 flu pandemic, dysentry, typhoid, TB, all the disease you get from being in the Navy in the tropics in the late 1800's, etc. It was only after penicillin became mass marketed that the health of my family basically got destroyed by fungal infection. So I believe that penicillin can act like a form of kryptonite to an otherwise healthy genetic line, and the effects are often irreversible.
