well im am very glad to hear youll be re-using all that wondeful pulp. i too enjoy raw soups and smoothies and even though im not breaking my fast with them and said it can be wasteful in many ways (as far as the breaking down of enzymes and free radicals and other goodies for our bodies.but then agien "cooking" is wasteful in that respect too),i LOVE fresh juices. i do plan on making some smoothies this week and i actually bought my first juicer a couple weeks ago so at some point this week i will attepmt to make my very first fresh organic juices. regardless of how bad it turns out it wont go to waste.
ive made some pretty HORRIBLE smoothies but forced em down regardless. i made a green smoothie once with waaaaaaaaaay to much spinach,kale,and collard greens and it literally made me gag as i forced it down. unfortunately i made alot so i had to drink about half before i bought more fruits to make it better but that was one of my first smoothies and it was just all around bad.
the first juice im going to attemt is kind of like a fresh v8 recipe i found. but all your juices do sound wonderful. wish i had ya around so i could just throw money at ya and mooch off your juice. lol
but yes,i going to be breaking my fast with actual food in very small amount with lots and lots of chewing. and i know what you mean but if you can find the will power tto fast for 36 day im sure you can manage one or two almonds. pistachios are my biggest weakness and even though id LOVE to eat 30 of em RIGHT NOW...after 40 days just one of two is going to be just a blessing.
another suprising story i found somewhere on freedomyou.com was about one guy who broke his fast the first day with only nuts. just a few here and there throught the whole day.
but i do realize the importance of being careful. there are those few people who have died by going overboard and good point about the woman from youtube. i completely forgot she was taking vitamins the whole time but didnt realize that would keep the body from entering a true fast.
i usually dont take any form of medicines,vitamins,or supplements. im a believer that itd be best way to let our food and lifestyles be our medicine if possible. but i decided after this fast to take milk thistle for a little while. im sure this has been hard on my liver and hopefully that will do it some good
