36.5 Days: Fast Broken!

With so many essential variables to consider and with a deep concern that attempting to await feeling "on top of the world" before breaking the fast which for all i knew could take another 20-30 days... and worse could be pre-empted by the necessity of breaking the fast prematurely through clear "nutrient deficient" warning signs, perhaps even during a mid-nausia crisis... i decided to take the first "non-nausia, non-extreme weakness" opportunity to break it... which turned out to be this morning :).

40 Days would have been nice, but i didn't feel it was worth the risk of being mid-crisis again by then.

Though none of my ultimate goals were met, i became 36.5 days closer to each of them which certainly is not without merit and i expect to fast again likely after about 3 months of immensely nutritious re-feeding and will hopefully attain some or all of these achievements at that time :). Again these are: elimination of all toxemia, the complete healing of my heart and the return of genuine hunger).

I am very happy to be at this stage and look forward to a fantastically enjoyable and prosperous re-feeding period. I expect to have about 9 days of fresh, live juice, predominately organic, predominately raw and some cooked and I may choose to have a small percentage of whole fruits towards the end of this. After the 9 days of juicing, i expect to enjoy about 9 days of fruits and vegetables before moving on to anything else.

This fast was broken with one of my favorite juices, pineapple, and i had about 1/8 cup mixed with 1/8 cup of distilled water. So far i have repeated this every half hour for 2 hours and the type of juice and the quantity seem to be agreeing with me as i gradually and gently emerge from this long digestive slumber.
