Re: John E. Water Machine--Water Test Results

I got one of these machines off Ebay for about half the price. It's a LWM4. The instructions that come with it aren't very specific. I was wondering if anybody had one of these and know about what temperature to keep the water in the pot at? I'm running it now and the runoff is 145°F and average temperature in the pot is 130°F. Is this about right or should I make some more adjustments? There seems to be an awful lot of waste runoff just to make 1 gallon of distilled water. Also, I'm not really noticing anything spectacular about the distilled water. I did the thing with the ice cubes and it's a bit clearer but otherwise, no difference. Tweet
