Chiron , my friend , let me give you a search idea from my home country ...check the word "sarma" " sarmi" (if you have not tried it yet)..You will love it , its a cabage roll and you can improvise so much with the fillings...It English , I saw too many wrong spellings but if you stay with these two words or search for cabage roll you will find it ( has Moldovan ,greek,polish, bulgarian etc versions - all good)

I am about to have my first tomatoes, squash, cucumbers and jalipinos ( goodness what was the spelling) this summer...Very excited , I am a city person and this is a big change for me
